The Diaconal Ordination Ceremony of Fr. Nazaret Mendoza Lacruz was held on December 2 in the city of Chiquinquira- Colombia at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá. The chorus of friars accompenied the Eucarist. The ordination was made by imposition of hands of His Excellency Fray Jorge Leonardo Gómez Serna, O.P. Bishop emeritus of the Diocese of Magangué.
In the presence of the Patroness of Colombia: Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira, the new deacon say: "I am grateful to God, to my Province and my vicariate for accepting me to the Order in the degree of the diaconate". May the grace of the Holy Spirit accompany our brother in his journey of evangelization and the conquest of souls.
