Yesterday (August 08), the two communities in Hong Kong gathered at Saint Joseph’s House in Kowloon Tong to celebrate the feast of our Holy Father St. Dominic. We had ‘Evening Prayers’ and the third day of the Triduum, followed by dinner. We were 13 novices, one Brother, and three fathers from St. Albert’s priory, the delegate of the Holy See and his assistant, as well as some of our friends who usually come to our chapel. All of us came and shared in this happy and blessed day of the feast of our Father Dominic.
During the celebration, Father Hyacinth He, the Socius of the Provincial, gave the Dominican habit to Deacon Francis Cheung, who is a Lay Dominican and permanent Deacon of the Diocese of Hong Kong. He has been of great help to the Province in many matters.
May St. Dominic continue to intercede for all of us and may God, through his intercession, continue blessing us with many vocations.
